Organic Elegance at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club

August 5, 2016

Jasmine and Peter were married at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club this past weekend
and it was simply stunning.
With the help of Brittany and Ashley from Satin & Snow they transformed the Club and hosted
one of the most wonderfully designed weddings I have ever had the pleasure of capturing.
From the carefully curated invitation suite to the homemade bottles of chimichurri sauce offered
as wedding favours (made with love by the couple using Peter’s abuela’s family recipe),
there were countless thoughtful details to enjoy throughout the day.
Without further ado, please feast your eyes on all of the pretty…
The boys looking dapper in their royal blue suits tailored by Suit Up with custom embroidery on the inner pocket
The swoonworthy florals and foliage were all provided by the amazing team at Wedecor
Jasmine found her perfect dress at the Renewed With Love Boutique in Stittsville.  Her look was completed with a touch of Kate Spade in the form of bridal earrings.
THIS colour palette though…these fair maidens found their gorgeous gowns at David’s Bridal
Hair & Makeup provided by the talented Radha Subramani
I was so happy to see these two enjoy themselves and each other after all of their hard work and planning
I had never seen a ceremony set-up in front of the Club…it turned out beautifully!
So great to work with my friend and officiant Gord Marriage on this one!
Officially official.
How gorgeous is this Wish Tree?
Peter and his rugby buds during cocktail hour
Yes…you counted right.  There were 9 wedding cakes by The Sugar Lab.  And they were delicious.
Jasmine’s beautiful vision brought to life…these napkins in mauve are my fave!
Most of what you see here was provided by Wedecor.
Abuela’s Chimichurri recipe (I can’t wait to try it!) and as if there wasn’t already enough
wow factor at this wedding…a Suzy Q Doughnuts buffet
The wedding party entered the dinner reception in style, honouring the bride’s cultural heritage with a little bit of bangara
Rounding out a dream team of wedding vendors was Helen Viva from the
Professional Entertainment Group.
She had guests tearing up the dance floor even before it was officially open!
Jasmine and Peter…
All of the time, thought and love that you poured into this day did not go unnoticed and it was
so wonderful to see the joy on your faces as you saw it all come together
just as you had hoped!
My sincerest gratitude to you both for trusting me with your memories and including us in your special day.  Shout out to Jade for bringing it, as always!
Be sure to enjoy a Portuguese egg tart on my behalf!
