The Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend started off as a really wet one.
The weather forecast had been taunting us all week, and I was counting on it to be accurate as it predicted that the rain would stop just in time for photos, post ceremony.
Someone’s wishes were granted because, not only did it stop raining but, we had just the right amount of sunlight when we needed it the most.
Lara and Ted celebrated their love with a beautiful autumn wedding at the
St. Elias Cathedral and Centre surrounded by family and friends.
Here’s a peek at some of the highlights from that day:
The lovely florals were provided by Ottawa Blooms
This was my first time attending and photographing an Orthodox ceremony.
This beautiful ombre cake was designed by Dulce Couture
The bride and groom entered their reception in style with a traditional Lebanese Zaffe.
The newlyweds chose Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games‘ for their First Dance.
In homage to their first date at a Second Cup, Lara and Ted created a coffee bar for their guests to enjoy after dinner.
Each guest also went home with delicious biscotti favours from Simply Biscotti in Westboro
A big thank you to my assistant Chris S. for all your help and coming out on a holiday!
Lara and Ted…I wish you both a lifetime full of love.
